Tryout Process
🔹 Elite Prospects will be selected for our MAD Select Teams, competing on the NXTPRO/Puma Circuit, gaining national exposure in front of college coaches and scouts.
🔹 Performance Team Players will develop through local tournaments and skill-building programs, with a chance to move up to Select Teams through tryouts or coach evaluation.

Whether you’re an elite prospect aiming for the MAD Select Teams on the NXTPRO/Puma Circuit or a developing player looking to sharpen your skills on our Performance Teams, this is your chance to prove yourself.
🏀 Boys Ages 13-18
MAD Basketball Academy welcomes young athletes ages 8-18, providing them with structured training, competition, and development opportunities. Our program is designed to help players grow at every stage of their basketball journey, from beginners to elite competitors.
🏀 Players of all skill levels
We ensure that each athlete is placed in the appropriate division based on their skill level and experience. Elite prospects may be selected for our Select Teams, while developing players will join Performance Teams to refine their game with the opportunity to advance.
🏀 Athletes who are committed
We seek dedicated players who are ready to train hard, compete with intensity, and embrace the growth process. Our program emphasizes discipline, teamwork, and skill development, preparing athletes for success on and off the court.
Who Can Try Out?
Players will go through a series of skill-based drills, fundamental evaluations, and live scrimmages designed to test their abilities in game-like situations. Our structured tryout format ensures that each athlete gets a fair opportunity to demonstrate their strengths.

Our USA Basketball-licensed coaches will evaluate players based on their fundamentals, basketball IQ, athleticism, and work ethic. Coaches will provide valuable feedback, helping athletes understand their current skill level and areas for improvement.
